5.15.04 - I'm re-recording Close To Me next week and hopefully will bring into being a new song that I've been carrying with me for a few years one called One Hand Behind. It's a song with a lot of symboligy reffering to oppression of many groups of people: eithnic minorities, gay & lesbian, the youth of this world, the older generation, etc.

 

Also good luck to Blue Cafe who are representing Poland in the Eurovision 2004 in Istanbul.

 

5.3.04 - One thing that I noticed is that I jump the gun. I am glad that I am moving forward in my music but I have to stop labelling shit. I did the music for a new track called Every Man's a Kennedy. Half done with the lyrics and will probably record it on Wednesday. I am aiming ot be signed sometime this year.

 

Also my name has changed. I'm no longer Redd. Redd was a concept, an alter ego, an excuse to act a certain way. With Poland joining the EU I became more patriotic but in a way where I am curious about my identity but not only Polish, my European identity. So I changed my last name from Zakrzewski to Orzel. Orzel means eagle and it's my grandmother's maiden name. It's a royal Polish last name and I think it fits me perfectly. In my career I want to keep soaring and being on top of things like the eagle. I will have some new pictures coming within the next two weeks and also brand new music, and re-recorded version of old favourites.
